Battle of the Parties/Clans

 · The Battle of Parties (Ahzaab) which is called in the history books as the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq)· The jewish tried their best to convince Quraysh and all the other tribes until they could gather ten thousand warriors, they gathered them and brought them to defeat the Muslims and Islam in their own houses in the Holy Medina.· The Muslims surrounded their city (Medina) with a trench (Khandaq) which was suggested by Salman Al Farsi and the order of the Prophet(s) of Allah swt· The Prophet (s) of Allah swt personally with his own hands worked in digging the trenches with the rest of the Muslims· The jewish tribe Bano Quraydha deliberately broke the peace treaty in place between them and the Muslims so the enemies gathered and surrounded the Muslims. Allah swt described in his Holy Book the difficult situation of the Muslims by stating:   When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes turned dull, and the hearts rose up to the throats, and you began to think diverse thoughts of Allah. (33:10)· Allah swt supported the Muslims with his soldiers, and “no one knows the soldiers of your God except him”, so the fear took over in the hearts of the unbelievers especially after Imam Ali (as) killed Amr bin Wid Al Amari. He was one of the bravest names of Quraysh and was thought to be capable of fighting one thousand knights. Eventually the scared enemy retreated.

· When Imam Ali (as) went to fight with Amr bin Wid the prophet (s) of Allah swt said this famous statement—”The whole faith is fighting against the whole Polytheists” then he honored him with badge from Allah swt by stating “the strike of Ali on the day of Khandak equals to the worship of the Humans and Jinns
